The person behind the protection

Who We Are, and
Why This Matters to Us

We didn't get into cybersecurity to sell software licenses. We got into it because we saw what happens when small businesses and healthcare practices are left defenseless — and we couldn't walk away from that.

My story

I Didn't Start LockRidge Because It Was Easy

I started it because I saw a real problem that needed to be solved.

Technology has always been a part of my life, and I knew early on that I wanted to build a career around it. But like many people trying to break into tech today, I quickly realized how difficult it can be to find the right opportunity.

That changed through my uncle — who has spent over 20 years in cybersecurity. Seeing this field through his eyes showed me what it really looks like: not just the technical side, but the real-world impact it has on businesses and the people behind them. That perspective pushed me to stop waiting for an opportunity and start building something of my own.

As I looked around my community, I noticed something important — many healthcare offices are small, family-run businesses. They take incredible care of their patients, but behind the scenes, many of them are vulnerable when it comes to technology and security. And the risks are real: over 60% of small businesses shut down within 6 months of a major cyberattack. For healthcare practices, the impact can be even greater due to sensitive patient data and strict compliance requirements.

That hit close to home. I've spent a large part of my life in and around healthcare offices myself. Growing up with ongoing health challenges, I've had the chance to work with doctors who genuinely care about their patients — and I knew those were the kinds of people I wanted to support and protect.

I love technology. I love solving problems. And I care deeply about helping people. LockRidge was built on that foundation — to help healthcare practices run smoother, stay protected, and avoid the kinds of technology issues that can disrupt their business or put them at risk. This isn't just work to me. It's personal.

I protect businesses and healthcare practices.
I take that responsibility personally.

How I work

My Commitments to You

PLAIN LANGUAGE

I will never confuse you with jargon. If I can't explain what I found and why it matters in plain English, then I haven't done my job. Every report, every conversation — clear, direct, and useful.

NO FEAR SALES

I don't manufacture urgency. Everything I recommend will be honest — including when I tell you something doesn't need to be fixed right now, or that you're actually in good shape. I'd rather lose a sale than oversell a problem.

FOCUSED EXPERTISE

We work with small businesses and healthcare practices across Utah County. Whether you need basic IT support or specialized HIPAA-sensitive security, we bring the same focused expertise. We don't spread thin — we go deep on what matters for your type of organization.

ALWAYS AVAILABLE

If something happens at 11pm on a Friday and you think your practice has been breached — you call me. That's not a feature I charge extra for. That's part of what it means to take this personally.
